CROWNS & BRIDGES

Both crowns and bridges are fixed prosthetic devices. Unlike removable dentures, the crowns and bridges are fixed to the teeth by dental cements and can only be removed by a dentist.

A crown is used to entirely cover a damaged tooth. Crowns can be made up of metal alloys, metal fused with ceramic or full ceramic (zirconia)

A bridge may be recommended if you have one or more missing teeth.

Bridges are used to fill the gap by taking the support of adjacent teeth.
